Welcome to our world
Yesica Angelica Art Books Co is an independent publishing house and shop for art, books, and stationery, founded in Quebec City by two sisters: Yesica, who writes, and Angelica, who illustrates.
We create books, notebooks, stationery sets, and original artworks for those who love to read, draw, color, write, collect, and take the time to create. Every product in our shop is imagined, designed, and prepared by the two of us, with care and passion.

To create products that inspire people to read, create, and dream.
We want to offer our customers original, accessible, and heartfelt books and stationery that transform a little corner of a desk, a nightstand, or a notebook into a creative space of one's own.
Our story
Colombian roots
We are two sisters born five years apart. We grew up in the countryside of Colombia, surrounded by our mother, our brothers, and our sisters, in a single-parent family. We were still children when our father brought us to Canada.
A new life in Quebec
Our Canadian life began in Trois-Rivières, where we lived for about four years. In 2011, we moved to Quebec City, the city where our business was born and where we create today.
Mixed-race, born to a dark-skinned father and a light-skinned mother, curly-haired Colombians raised in Quebec, we learned very early on how to find our place between two cultures. This dual identity fuels our creativity: it is reflected in our stories, our colors, and our way of seeing the world.
It all started with Yesica
Our adventure began with Yesica. She was the one who invited Angelica to create an online channel with her. Gradually, the projects grew, and together we launched a blog.
Yesica wrote on it, telling stories about what we were both experiencing, and Angelica illustrated what Yesica wrote. Without knowing it, we had just found our way of creating together: one's words, the other's drawings. That is still how we work today.
Our first shop
In 2020, we opened our first art and style shop. Yesica drew and made scrunchies and tops for women, while Angelica, more skilled with her hands, crafted the jewelry that Yesica imagined. Art still had very little place there.
Over time, we separated our shops, and we realized we weren't sure what we really wanted to do. Our path has not been a straight line, and a first business launched in 2010 didn't work out either, but every step taught us to persevere.
A passion for books
In 2025, an unexpected passion was born: publishing a book. Angelica published her first coloring book, and Yesica published her novel, with a cover illustrated by Angelica.
In 2026, we discovered we were publishers by creating our own publishing house. Today, each of us sells our own books, and together, we have published an illustrated tale. We also create stationery for scrapbooking and reading lovers, in addition to our books.
Our motto
"Some people make books, others do scrapbooking; we make stationery for their own little corner."
This sentence sums up our story: two sisters, one who writes, the other who illustrates, united around books, stationery, and everyone who loves to create their own little corner.
What we create
Books
Our publishing house releases novels, coloring books, and illustrated tales. We write, illustrate, format, and edit our books ourselves, from the first word to the printing.
Stationery sets
Our stationery sets bring together postcards, note sheets in different formats, stickers, and bookmarks. They are designed for collectors, scrapbooking lovers, and reading enthusiasts.
Notebooks
We design notebooks adapted for different activities: drawing, doodling, writing, planning, keeping your ideas and memories.
Original artworks
Our shop also features original acrylic paintings by Angelica, unique pieces to bring color and personality to your home.

Creativity is at the heart of everything we do: each product is born from an original idea, a drawing, or a story we have imagined. Our brand is also built on perseverance, as it is the result of many years of work and consistency.
We place great importance on care, both in the quality of our products and in the preparation of each order. We value our authenticity and remain true to who we are, our history, and our style. Finally, we believe in closeness: behind the shop, there are two people who read your messages and answer them themselves.

We want to grow our brand, step by step, with the same passion as the first day. Our biggest dream is to present our creations at major events, like art and craft fairs, to meet our readers in person, and to see Yesica Angelica Art Books Co one day become a large company, with a registered trademark.
